Interested in stage management or how things run in the booth? Take on a different challenge altogether making magical sights and sound while herding cats!

OUR OBJECTIVES


  • To provide positive theatrical experiences for both the audience and the participant. 
  • To choose age appropriate material that emphasizes entertainment value, Canadian content, and material rooted in cultural and community experience.
  • To educate and train young people in all aspects of theatre: performance, playwriting, technical studies, stage management and design.
  • To sponsor an annual playwriting contest.
  • To produce plays by young people.
  • To commission, develop, and produce original works.
  • To offer fall, winter, and summer classes and workshops in all aspects of theatre. 
  • To produce a main stage winter and spring show and a summer touring production.
  • To develop a “theatre in the schools” program.
