The Great Plank Road Heist
In October 2011, Lambton Players - young and old - put on an outdoor show telling the tale of the Great Plank Road Heist.
The year is 1862, and the Great Plank Road is disappearing... plank by plank. No one seems to know why!
Rumours abound in Boomtown, and folks are getting a little tense. Without the Great Plank Road, how will they get the oil out? Mayor McGillicuddy has his hands full keeping a rein on the Townsfolk, and he’s looking for some help to solve the mystery before it’s too late!
This was a fundraising event, presented by Lambton Young Theatre Players and Petrolia Discovery.
